THE YEAR
Most collections are a pile of pictures. Series A is a year.
Three hundred and sixty-five artworks, and every one of them is a day. Not a day in spirit — an actual day. Token 80 is the 21st of March, and it looks like the 21st of March, because in this collection the season is not a backdrop chosen for mood. It is drawn from the calendar. Spring arrives in the artwork when spring arrives in the world.
The year opens in grey and closes in grey. Between those two days sits everything a year contains: hard summer light, rooms where a conversation has just ended, hills in improbable colour, rain mid-pass, a stage where the shadows fall the wrong way on purpose. Which day you mint, you will not know until the year wakes. Somebody will hold the first day. Somebody will hold the last.
No more will ever exist. If the mint closes before the year fills, the supply cuts to what was minted, permanently. Years are not reopened.
THE STORY
The pull of pictures survived six decades of a full life. This year it stopped waiting.
The artist behind Series A turned sixty this year, and has spent a working lifetime as an architect of systems. That turned out not to be a detour from art. It was the training. A collection, properly made, is a system: rules for light written down and argued over, colour weighed by eye until it sits right, decisions taken, reversed, and taken again.
And the method is worth being straight about, because it is the whole point. This art is created with intelligence — not the artificial kind. The alive kind. Judgment, taste, stubbornness, and humanity infused into every choice, down to a pair of odd socks that will never match. The pictures are drawn by judgment rather than by hand, and they are the artist's in every line.
The love in this project is a collector's love as much as a maker's. Its heart lives among people who genuinely look at what they hold — the art collectors of this space, the long-term wallets, the ones who zoom in. Series A was built for them, which is why it will never be sold in the ordinary sense at all. It will be placed.
THE RULES
Every artwork obeys a written rulebook: light, craft, doctrine. You will learn the rules before you ever see the art.
LIGHTShadows obey a written law — direction, tone, and who may cast them, fixed per era and enforced in code. Some eras forbid shadows entirely. One era casts them the wrong way, deliberately, and you will eventually see why.
CRAFTEvery artwork is an authored vector. Seven stroke widths, no exceptions. Every wave is a true curve with one node per half-wavelength; every hill holds at most nine anchors. The largest file in the collection is 29 kilobytes. Your phone takes bigger pictures of your lunch.
DOCTRINE D-2Every burst of motion happens without a visible cause. The event has just happened; the agent has already left. The splash has no diver. The call has just ended. The rain is already falling. Remember this one — it is the whole collection.
DOCTRINE D-1The scene is the trait. What you collect is a day of light, whole. The small details are for the metadata, and for owners. Zoom is the reward of ownership.
PROVENANCEThe year regenerates, byte for byte, from its own build system. Every token's seed is its day number. The collection is reproducible; your day is yours.
FRAGMENTS
The year is not shown before it wakes. But a year leaks. These are details — never whole days.

THE EVENT HAS JUST HAPPENED. THE SPLASH HAS NO DIVER.

WATER, IN THE LANGUAGE OF SERIES A.

SOME SHADOWS FALL THE WRONG WAY. ON PURPOSE.

THE CALL HAS JUST ENDED.

RAIN IS NINE CONFIDENT STROKES. NO CLOUD IS EVER DRAWN.

ZOOM IN. KEEP ZOOMING. THE EDGE WILL NOT SOFTEN.

ON THE GREY DAYS, THE ONLY COLOUR IN THE ARTWORK RIDES THE TIP OF THE BRUSH.
THE WITNESS
Someone appears in all 365 days. He never causes the event. He arrives just after.
Round spectacles. A colour-clash cardigan. Odd socks, always — this is a trait, and it is taken seriously. He walks the roads, stands at the pool edge, sits out the grey days. He carries a brush, and what is on the tip of it changes across the year. On the two grey days, the tip of that brush carries the only colour in the entire artwork.
He is not the subject. The day is the subject. He is simply the proof that somebody saw it.

THE WITNESS · THREE POSES · FROM THE STUDIO SHEET

THE SOCKS NEVER MATCH. THIS IS A TRAIT.

WATCH THE TIP OF THE BRUSH. IT CHANGES ACROSS THE YEAR.
EIGHT ERAS OF LIGHT
The year moves through eight eras. Each has its own palette, its own laws of light, and its own silence.
THE POOL
Hard sun, turquoise water, pink stucco. Nothing casts a shadow on the water. Ever.
THE ROOM
Two chairs, facing. The space between two people who have just stopped talking.
THE HILLS
English hills in improbable colour. Violet roads. A walker, mid-stride, going somewhere you never see.
THE TILES
One scene, reassembled from tiles that politely disagree.
THE SCREEN
Drawings made of light on darkness. No shadows here — darkness is the shadow.
THE YEAR
A full year wrapped into one square: blossom, rain and snow in stacked bands.
THE STAGE
The floor tips toward you. The shadows fall toward the audience — footlights say so.
THE GREY
Two days of the year are grey. The first and the last. In each, one seed of colour survives.
The ladder, bottom to top:
AT THUMBNAIL SIZE YOU CAN TELL EVERY ERA APART. THAT IS BY DESIGN, AND IT WAS TESTED.
EVERYTHING SERIES A BELIEVES, IN FIVE LINES
Flat colour is honest.
Light obeys rules.
The scene is the trait.
The splash has no diver.
The year is whole.
THE MINT
Free, and deliberately hard to get. The opposite of a public sale.
The allowlist is drawn from wallets that genuinely collect art — holders of the collections that shaped this space. No tasks, no raffles, no farming. The snapshot may already have happened.
Every wallet mints a sleeping day: one grey placeholder, identical for all, until the year completes — at mint-out, or ten days after open, whichever comes first. Then 365 days of light wake at once, the collection tells you its name, and you discover which day is yours.

WHAT YOU WILL HOLD, UNTIL THE YEAR WAKES.
Why free? Because the first owners of Series A set its meaning. The artist would rather choose them than charge them. Secondary will find its own level. It always does.
VERIFY EVERYTHING · ALWAYS
The only mint link will ever be posted

@Ari3izSeries never posts links before reveal. No early wallet connections will ever be requested. Any other account, link or "Series" page is fake.
WL COLLABS — FOR COLLAB MANAGERS
A small number of allowlist allocations are reserved for communities that genuinely collect art.
If you manage a community of real collectors — art-first, long-term wallets, people who will actually look at what they hold — a conversation is welcome. Allocations are small, curated and free, like the mint itself.
WHAT QUALIFIES
- Art-first communities with genuine collector culture
- Established collections and their holder bases
- Curated groups where membership means taste, not tasks
- Small, precise allocations — quality over headcount
WHAT WE NEVER DO
- No paid whitelist, ever
- No farming, tasks, raffles or grind mechanics
- No follow-for-WL giveaways
- No links or wallet connections before mint day
